Overview
Lakshadweep sits inside a protected marine reserve with virtually no tourism pressure on its dive sites. The coral is healthy, the visibility routinely exceeds 25 metres, and the underwater topography ranges from sweeping reef flats to vertical coral walls dropping to 30m+.
This 6-night multi-island itinerary is designed around dive density. You will stay on Kadmat (two nights) and Bangaram (four nights), accessing different reef systems and site profiles on each island. Up to 10 guided dives are included across the trip — a mix of morning reef dives, afternoon wall dives, and one optional night dive.
All guests must hold a minimum PADI Open Water certification. We include equipment hire, tank fills, and a dive briefing sheet for each site. The itinerary is designed to avoid crowded dive windows and prioritise least-disturbed reef sections.
Itinerary
Fly to Agatti · Transfer to Kadmat
Morning flight from Kochi to Agatti. Passenger boat transfer to Kadmat (approx. 2 hrs). Check in, equipment fitting, dive briefing. Afternoon shore dive to calibrate buoyancy at the Kadmat reef entry. Welcome dinner.
Kadmat Reef Dives (2 dives)
Two guided reef dives: morning boat dive on the northern reef wall (depth 18–24m, strong current channel), afternoon dive on the protected inner reef (12–18m, high coral cover, macro life). Surface interval lunch.
Kadmat Wreck Dive · Transfer to Bangaram
Morning wreck dive on a small fishing vessel in 14m — encrusted in coral and home to a resident school of batfish. After lunch, speedboat transfer to Bangaram (approx. 3 hrs). Check in and evening briefing for Bangaram dive sites.
Bangaram Channel Dives (2 dives)
The Bangaram channel is one of Lakshadweep's premium sites — strong drift, reef sharks, eagle rays, and near-guaranteed pelagic sightings. Two dives: channel entry and a deep corner reef (20–28m). Afternoon free.
Coral Garden Dives · Optional Night Dive
Two dives on the Bangaram coral garden — one of the most intact soft coral systems in the archipelago. Evening optional night dive (additional arrangement required; guide included). Perfect for octopus, lobster, and sleeping parrotfish.
Final Two Dives · Rest Day
Final two dives in the morning — favourite site repeat or a new site depending on group preference. No diving after 2pm (DCS risk before next-day flight). Afternoon beach, equipment rinse, gear packing.
Speedboat to Agatti · Flight Home
Pre-dawn speedboat to Agatti. Departure flight to Kochi. Package concludes on landing.
